Wyoming shooting suspect arrested by Nebraska trooper

A woman suspected in a Wyoming shooting case is being held in Dawson County jail after being apprehended by a Nebraska state trooper on Wednesday night.

Victoria Tidball, 28, is one of two suspects in a December 16 shooting in Saratoga, Wyoming. According to the Saratoga Sun, Tidball was being investigated by local police for firing 40 rounds into a house and car during a personal dispute. The victim was not injured.

Tidball was driving a BMW SUV westbound on I-80 about a mile east of the Gothenburg exit, according to the Nebraska State Patrol. Acting on information from an arrest warrant, the state trooper conducted a traffic stop and apprehended her without incident.

Tidball was wanted for aggravated assault and theft, according to a news release from the Saratoga police department.

Cody Ellenson, another suspect in the case, was also wanted by Wyoming investigators. According to press reports, it was unclear how he was connected to the shooting, but he was also wanted in Wyoming on a separate criminal accusation.
