According to the weather forecast issued by the IMD, rain will continue in parts of Tamil Nadu, Andoman and Nicobar, South Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Goa and Andhra Pradesh today.

Not only the mood of the weather has changed amid snowfall in the mountains, but cold wave has started in many parts of the country. From Delhi-NCR to UP, Bihar experienced cold weather, while Rajasthan was hit by a cold wave. Frost has spread over most parts of North and Central India and temperatures continue to drop. According to the meteorological department, the minimum temperature will remain between 8-10 degrees Celsius in most parts for the next few days. Some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Uttarakhand are likely to receive snowfall today, while the downpour will continue in the south Indian states.

According to the Meteorological Department, South Peninsular India will receive light to moderate rain during the next 5 days. Not only this, several parts of northwestern and adjoining central India are likely to see minimum temperatures between 8-10 degrees Celsius during the next 4-5 days. According to the weather forecast issued by the IMD, rain will continue in parts of Tamil Nadu, Andoman and Nicobar, South Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Goa and Andhra Pradesh today. On the other hand, if we talk about temperature, East India will see a decrease in temperature by 2-3 degrees Celsius. This means that the effect of cold weather will increase in East India.

The temperature keeps dropping
In the capital of the country, Delhi, the cold is constantly increasing. Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘poor’ category on Thursday, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the season’s average temperature. In many parts of Rajasthan, the frost suddenly increased significantly. Fatehpur and Churu regions recorded a significant drop in temperature and cold wave-like conditions. Snowfall continues in upper parts of Himachal Pradesh, while Uttarakhand and Kashmir will also receive snowfall today. The effect of snowfall over the mountains is visible in the plains and frost has increased in North and Central India including UP-Bihar.
