Loving the cobra cost the Indian youth dearly.

A video of an Indian youth is going viral on social media, in which a boy can be seen fondling a king cobra.

In the video, it can be seen that the boy loves the cobra while the cobra tries to bite him.

However, the cobra immediately falls from the young man’s hands.

This video was shared on Twitter by AH Siddique with the caption, “Young boy’s attempt to love a cobra”.

In the video that went viral on social media, everyone is criticizing him for this act of the young boy.

“Never play with life,” wrote one user.

While another user wrote that thankfully the boy survived after being bitten by the cobra.

It should be noted that this incident took place in Bomana Katta of Bhadravati in Shivmoga district.

It should be remembered that in 1911, the British Crown moved its capital from Calcutta to Delhi in India, but in the coming times, a new problem started to arise, and that was the increasing population of cobra snakes in Delhi and its surroundings.

Which is not only a poisonous and dangerous snake, but its growing population was also causing fear and anxiety among people.

So the British government announced in this regard that whoever brings a live or dead cobra will get a cash reward.

Thus people started hunting cobras and taking them to designated government offices to get rewards.

But some wise Indians thought to take double advantage of this opportunity and started secretly breeding cobras to breed them and offer more and more cobras to the government for a handsome prize money.
