Possible long march of PTI, Islamabad police preparations started
Islamabad (92 News) – In view of the possible long march of PTI, Islamabad Police has started preparations.
Heavy police force was deployed on all the roads. Nadra Chowk, Express Chowk and Ayub Chowk leading to the red zone have been sealed with barbed wire and containers. Only Margalla Road and Sarina Chowk have been kept open for the entry of employees by the police.
On the other hand, Islamabad Police has also asked for 30,000 Police, Rangers and FC personnel from the provinces. 20,000 from Punjab, 4,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 6,000 from Rangers have been requested. 3000 FC officials have already reached Islamabad.
Sources say that additional tear gas shells and tear gas throwing drones have also been ordered by the Islamabad Police.
Spokesman of Islamabad Police says that some people have turned to Federation from Punjab to fulfill their political demands. Section 144 is in force in Islamabad, violators will be dealt with according to law.
