A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called at approximately 2:45pm on Wednesday 21 September to report a disturbance in the Victoria Street area of Glasgow.
“Emergency joined and a 69-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 35-year-old man was arrested in the incident. And there is an ongoing investigation to establish the whole situation.”
