Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to introduce the post of team director by abolishing the post of head coach to bring in Mickey Arthur.
According to sources, Mickey Arthur will now be the team director instead of coach. Mickey Arthur will join the team from April 1, Mickey Arthur will be available online for the team, Mickey Arthur will not be present in person on various tours with the team. Mickey Arthur will not join the Pakistan team due to his contract with Derbyshire.
The PCB also indicated to remove the manager from the Pakistan team. It has been decided to make GM Rehanul Haq the new team manager of PSL franchise Islamabad United.
