One man was arrested and another was taken to hospital after being accused of terrorism in the Scottish town.

A 69-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

And police confirmed the 35-year-old had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

A portion of the road was closed while authorities were investigating.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We were called at approximately 2:45pm on Wednesday 21 September to report a disturbance in the Victoria Street area of ​​Glasgow.
