New York: Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that no one can understand the time we are going through, more than 33 million people, including women and children, have been affected by floods in Pakistan.

According to Hum News, Pakistan Muslim League (N) Central President Mian Shahbaz Sharif started his speech at the 77th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly with verses from the Holy Quran. He said that I have come to convey to you the first-hand information about the disaster of the flood. Rain and flood continued for 40 days and 40 nights. Due to the current flood, more than 1500 of our people have died. Inundated by floods, 33 million people, including women and children, have been displaced.

He said that 650 women gave birth to children in the flood. My heart and mind are still in Pakistan which is affected by the flood. I feel like I am visiting a flood affected area. Due to which people have suffered loss of life and property, I myself have been to the flood affected areas of the country.

Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has never seen such a natural disaster for the first time. There have been, forests are burning, along with all this we have also had to face the Master Monsoon.

The biggest challenge after the floods will be food security, the expert said

Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that he is grateful to the UN Secretary General for visiting Pakistan, Antonio Guterres visited the flood affected areas, spent time with the victims.
