The farmer’s family has claimed that these payments have come after 2015 and the electricity worker has not come even once to record the entries in the meter.

Soma Bhasme of Dhargaon in Igatpuri taluka applied to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company in 2013 as he needed electricity for his farm work. Electricity is connected. But, due to lack of financial situation, they could not install electric pump in the farm. Meanwhile, after Soma’s death in 2015, the matter was shelved. After the electricity connection, the electricity worker did not come even once to register the readings. Therefore, the members of Bhasme’s family are claiming that electricity was not used. Meanwhile, the Bhasme family received a payment of Rs. 28 thousand 270 from the electricity distribution company. Demanding cancellation of these payments, Bhasme’s family has put pressure on the power distribution company. In this regard, it was clarified that the entire matter will be investigated thoroughly and necessary action will be taken.
