Earlier, the by-election vote counting was peaceful. TRS is ahead in almost every round. While the BJP is pinning its hopes on Chowta, the TRS is leading with a small majority there as well. A majority of 2169 votes at the end of six rounds. In the sixth round, party candidate Kusukunthla Prabhakar Reddy got 6016 votes, BJP got 5378 votes and Congress got 1831 votes. In the sixth round, Kusukunthla secured 638 more votes than his nearest rival. Currently, the seventh round of vote counting is in progress. So far 95 votes have been counted and 1 lakh 30 more votes are to be counted.
