Chief Minister of Telangana. Chandrasekhar Rao aka KCR is going to announce his national political party on Dussehra. KCR will make the announcement on October 5 at 1:19 PM. KCR has made all preparations for this and it is being told that the name of his party Telangana Rashtra Samithi may also be changed.
KCR is constantly attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has said that the Modi government should go and a non-BJP government should come to power at the centre.
According to The Economic Times, the TRS will now expose the schemes being run by the KCR government in Telangana to the public across the country. These schemes also include Rithu Bandhu and Dalit Bandhu schemes. Rithubandhu literally means ‘friend of the farmer’. This project has two objectives. First, to provide farmers with timely cash for their initial investment needs, and second, to ensure that farmers do not fall into debt traps. Lakhs of farmers in Telangana have benefited from this scheme.
Under the Dalit Bandhu Yojana, a grant of Rs 10 lakh is given by the state government to every Dalit family to start any business or venture. Keeping these plans in front, TRS will question why such initiatives cannot be implemented across the country.
According to The Economic Times, the TRS will also question why villages across the country have not been provided with electricity even after 75 years of independence and why welfare schemes for the poor are being called free. Let us know that there has been a lot of political tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP over the freebies and the issue has also been debated in the Supreme Court for a long time.
KCR knows that his electoral battle in Telangana is now with the BJP. Assembly elections are due in Telangana in May next year and the BJP is rapidly making inroads in the state. KCR is facing a challenge from the BJP in Telangana and is trying to corner the BJP outside Telangana.
In early September, TRS said that a national political party and its policies would be announced very soon. Last month, KCR had announced that free electricity will be provided to farmers across the country if a non-BJP government comes to power at the Center in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Met the leaders.
KCR had met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar last month. Earlier this year too, KCR Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was in Delhi for three days to meet farmer leader Rakesh Takkit. Earlier he had met the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray.
KCR has long been rumored to wrest the chief minister’s chair from his son K. Tarak wants to enter national politics by handing over Rama Rao. He is trying to form a separate political front before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and for this he wants to form a federal front by bringing all the opposition parties on one platform.
In the coming days, KCR will meet all intellectuals, social organizations and leaders of Left parties across the country and try to connect them.
