Staff Reporter: In the face of the festival, the BJP is increasing the political heat by sending two Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Meenakshi Lekhi and actor Mithun Chakraborty to the state with various misleading statements. Not only the political controversy, the saffron camp at the behest of the central BJP leadership is also threatening to withhold funds from new financial schemes. In particular, the BJP leadership has started threatening to stop money by raising various false allegations by mentioning the names of various developmental projects.
By raising the issue of corruption, using the CBI, ED and the weakness of the state BJP, when the anti-trimool movement is unable to take root, the saffron camp is plotting new financial deprivation. Because, after doing a super flop program in the name of Navanna Abhiyan, the skeleton of Bengal BJP has come out. Central leaders like Sunil Bansal came to Bengal and were dismayed to see the booth-wise state of the party organization. And that’s why the central BJP leadership is trying to take the strategy of ‘hitting the rice’ by putting Bengal under the siege of financial deprivation. Therefore, the ocher leaders have started threatening to stop the central allocation by referring to the various projects that are already running in Bengal. Although right now the amount of fair dues of Bengal to the central government is more than 1 lakh crore rupees. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also written a letter to the Prime Minister after visiting Delhi a few days ago to settle this debt immediately.

The Trinamool Congress has already responded to the BJP’s allegations of financial deprivation by saying that the Centre’s money is not the ancestral property of the BJP. This central fund is made up of tax money paid by the public. And the Delhi government collected a huge amount of tax from West Bengal. Naturally, the state residents also have a moral stake in the money allocated by the Centre. Trinamool state general secretary Kunal Ghosh on Saturday complained, “BJP cannot forget the pain of defeat in 2021 assembly elections. So now he is threatening financial deprivation by being vengeful. In fact, BJP has understood that the West Bengal government is becoming the first or second in implementing one project after another according to the central government year after year by providing services to the common people. According to the Union Home Ministry, Kolkata is the safest city. So this time BJP is plotting to stop the government projects and reach the services to the people.”
Even in the 2021 assembly elections, the Trinamool Congress, who campaigned in the villages of Bengal, did not allow Durga Puja to take place in West Bengal. The Trinamool alleged that the BJP suddenly woke up after the UNESCO heritage recognition of Kolkata’s Durga Puja at the initiative of the West Bengal government. Kunal Ghosh and Shantanu Sen, two spokespersons of the party, complained, “Those who could not see the puja being performed, are now claiming the credit for the UNESCO recognition. Not only that, going to different clubs and pulling the ropes, they are performing the puja opening drama. People of Bengal know that Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool activists have been standing by the organizers of Durga Puja year after year.”

In fact, the BJP is creating new unrest to destroy the peace and cultural and festive atmosphere of Bengal. In fact, this is the reason why opposition leader Shuvendu Adhikari has threatened to cut off funds for some projects related to rural development in Bengal. Several central government officials also felt that the money allocated for the project was properly spent only in West Bengal. In fact, this is why West Bengal has ranked first in the country year after year in various public services like ‘Jal Dharo Jal Bharo’ starting from 100 days project. In terms of government IT services and e-governance, West Bengal has also been awarded the best multiple times, topping Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai. Although it has been almost ten months, 100 days and the central government has withheld funds for the Bangla Bari project.
