Har Ghar Nutrition Festival and T-3 Health Checkup Camp under the Anemia Free India campaign was organized on the premises of Bihar State Health Society on Friday. The camp was inaugurated by State Health Committee Executive Director Sanjay Kumar Singh and Additional Executive Director Keshvinder Kumar jointly by cutting the tape. First, the Executive Director and Additional Executive Director conducted a health check-up in the camp. Along with this, dozens of health officers and workers of the State Health Committee also got their health checked.

The program is being run during Nutrition Month.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, executive director at the camp, said that a check-up camp has been organized during the nutrition month. He said that the camp has been named T3. In which test, treat and talk were emphasized. Hemoglobin, blood sugar, blood pressure, glucose, height and weight were checked in the camp. Also, after the examination of the doctors and nutritionists present in the camp, proper counseling was given to all the people for better health and fitness. Apart from this, people are also advised to avoid eating junk food at present. To keep these diseases at bay, everyone was asked to eat sprouted grains, locally available green leafy vegetables, vitamin C-rich foods. Along with this, information about morning walks and light exercise was also provided.
Meanwhile, Additional Executive Director Keshvinder Kumar said that the hemoglobin test of the people participating in the camp was also conducted. Due to which anemia was detected in people. Anemia is a serious problem. Children, adolescents and pregnant women and people of reproductive age may be more affected on physical and mental capacity. Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan is being run in Bihar to control this serious health problem. Organizing such camps will help in making this campaign successful.

State Program Officer of Anemia Free India Program Dr. Srinivas said that the month of September is observed as Nutrition Month. A T-3 camp was organized in his memory. In which dozens of people got their medical examination done. He said that many diseases can be avoided by improving lifestyle. Along with this, iron-rich foods should also be emphasized to prevent anemia.
