ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased the price of petrol and diesel by Rs.
Speaking at a press conference in the federal capital, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 35 and Rs 35 per litre. He said that the price of kerosene and light diesel has been increased by 18, 18 rupees.
Ishaq Dar said that after the increase of 35 rupees, the new petrol price has been fixed at 249 rupees 80 paisa per litre, while the new price of high speed diesel has been fixed at 262 rupees 80 paisa per litre. After the increase of Rs 18, the new price of kerosene oil has been fixed at Rs 189 83 paise and the new price of light diesel oil has been fixed at Rs 187.
The increase in the prices of petroleum products was implemented today from 11:00.
The finance minister also said that there is no shortage of petroleum products in the country, but artificial shortages are being created.
