After being kidnapped, an 11-year-old girl from the Fort Wayne region was safely rescued.
She was found approximately 300 miles away, late on Saturday night, at a Wisconsin gas station.
On Saturday, the girl was placed under a Silver Alert by the Wells County Sheriff’s Department.
In Wisconsin, the police were able to identify the suspicious vehicle at night.
Three people have been taken into custody by the authorities in relation to the kidnapping case.
Now that she’s back home, the girl can finally be with her family.
The circumstances leading up to the kidnapping and any possible connection between the offenders and the victim have not been made public by the authorities.
