With the support of Center for Advocacy and Research, 8 members of Durga Support Group and 7 members of Parvati Support Group of Mahadya Panchayat Madhubani village were given MMDP kits by Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Medical Officer-in-Charge, Primary Health Center, Meenapur. Nirmala Kumari of the Mahadiya Panchayat said that she has been suffering from filariasis for about 3 years. During this time he faced many problems. After coming to camp, learn the causes of these problems and how to overcome them with management techniques.

MOIC Dr. Rakesh Kumar said that special medical tests and counseling are given to filariasis patients regularly every Tuesday at the Community Health Center Mishhari. In addition, MMDP is also provided free of cost to critically ill patients. Filariasis patients can easily visit a community health center to get advice and medication from a doctor at any time.

The Medical Officer-in-Charge said that in view of the prevalence of filariasis in the block area, it is necessary to conduct MMDP training camps in all the affected villages so that maximum number of filariasis patients can benefit. and controlling the spread of filariasis in the block area.
