The Delhi BJP will reach out to the general public with suggestions on preparing the manifesto or Sankalp Patra for the next month’s MCT polls. Bharatiya Janata Party Election Manifesto Committee Coordinator Satish Upadhyay said it has released a website and WhatsApp number seeking suggestions from the public for the upcoming municipal elections.
A WhatsApp number 7827514514 has been provided by the party to get suggestions from people. Upadhyay said they can also submit their suggestions through the website bjpdelhivision4mcd.com.
Along with this, around 1000 suggestion boxes will be set up at various corners of the city to seek suggestions from the public and they will also be placed in the party’s campaign vehicles, Upadhyay said.
Upadhyay said the party leaders will pay special attention to the citizens and businesses of Delhi, as well as the citizens of rural, recognized colonies and JJ clusters to understand their expectations. “We will pay special attention to the expectations of women and youth in the changing social situation,” he said.
MLA Vijender Gupta said that the people of Delhi have continuously given BJP a chance to serve in the corporation. Gupta said that despite working under difficult conditions, we have tried to live up to the expectations of Delhiites and will continue to do so in the future.
The State Election Commission on Friday announced that the Delhi Municipal Elections will be held on December 4 from 8 am to 5.30 pm and the results will be declared on December 7.
