Chilakaluripet, September 22: Former Minister Pratipati Pullarao has clarified that YCP MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu’s allegation that he had asked for a bribe of Rs 20 crore for the approval of Gautama Buddha Textiles is a complete lie. Bolla was challenged to prove these allegations. I want to swear that I asked for money. Pullarao said that he is ready to swear that he will not ask for money. He also said that false allegations are being made against him with the clamor that subsidy of Rs 40 crore was given with malicious intent. He also asked why the YCP government has not yet taken up the construction of the textile park even after three and a half years of coming to power. Meanwhile, another false allegation surfaced that Chandrababu Naidu had put Tirumala Dairy in crisis. Can you swear this to the diary directors and prove it in the presence of the media? he asked. Bolla lied in the Assembly that Chief Minister Jagan had given Rs 700 crore for spinning mills. Do you have the guts to prove that you paid that amount? he challenged. Brahmanaidu wanted to prove the allegations that he was involved in the cases filed in the above police station and that he was given 25 percent profit on the three hundred acres purchased by his company Venkata Rao. Pullarao demanded that Bolla should resign as MLA if he could not prove it.
